Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Just thinking about it has me getting excited! And now that we’re in our new house, I can’t wait to decorate it.
I’ve been scouring the internet for ideas of how to decorate with fall farmhouse decor, and here are several of my favorites!

Lightweight Throw Blanket
Made of microfiber, this blanket is 50″ x 60″, and they call the color “Lemon Curry.” Sure makes you want to cuddle up in it, doesn’t it?
Design idea: For some extra autumn color, toss it gently over the arm of a sofa, the back of a chair, or into an open storage basket in your living room.

Wouldn’t this be cute on your front porch during the autumn months? It would certain give you eye-catching curb appeal with a farmhouse touch.
Design idea: Dot your front walk with pumpkins like these, or line your porch steps. Paint your pumpkins white like these (or even light gray) for a fall farmhouse feel.

Design idea: Hang it on your front door, above the mantel, or from a coat tree over a bench!

Okay, not really decor, per se, but this autumn mug just may be the perfect one to add to your collection. You know a sip of coffee has to taste good out of a mug like that. (And don’t you agree with the sentiments? That’s all I want to do during the fall season, too.)

These soft colors would work wonderfully as fall farmhouse decor. As a six-piece set, each pumpkin lines up until they spell “Thanks,” making it a great decor choice for Thanksgiving and the autumn season.

The aroma of a place has almost as much to do with creating the atmosphere as the visual aspects do! Why not make your home smell like autumn just as much as you’re creating it to look and feel that way?
Design idea: Place the candle where it’s safe to burn, yet is in a prominent enough location to permeate the home. For example, it might work well on the kitchen island or counter. Start to burn it before guests arrive, so the scent is already spreading.
